瓷砖分为一是釉面砖，用陶土或者瓷土淋上釉料后烧制成的面砖；二是通体砖，这种砖不上釉，烧制后对表面打磨，里外都带有花纹；三是玻化砖，经高温烧制而成的瓷质砖，硬度高；四是抛光砖，通体砖抛光处理而成，薄轻但坚硬。
